Ideas that are productized
This is a wish list platform where people could easily add any desired product from every website. The website was live for 4 months, but it failed due to the problems in its business model. I learned the basics of Lean Startup in this experience.
I won the 2nd prize at Startup Live Istanbul with this project. It is a Wi-fi enabled smart plug which brings intelligence to every home with a very low cost and easy plug-and-play installation. After completing the prototyping phase, I ended this project due to problems with my partners. I learned that trust is the most important thing in partnerships.
Ideas that could not productized
SıraSende (Go and get your order)
We participated with this idea to the most well-known startup competition in Turkey called “Etohum”. The project’s aim was to let people take any order without waiting in line. By using a mobile app, the people would be able to send their orders to restaurants, cinema saloons, etc. We could not get an acceptance from this competition. Now, I see that the platforms that bring anything to your location such as Getir in Turkey or Glovo in Milano have a better business model in terms of serving their user base.
We participated with this idea to the most well-known startup competition in Turkey called “Etohum”. With JustSay, people would be able to store their voice records at their existing locations. For instance, a person who is not satisfied with the service quality of a restaurant could share their ideas by saving his/her voice record by tagging geographic location. We received an interview proposal later, but we were not motivated to do this project so much.
